You can “KISS and Tell” – When Rock Legends KISS is a ShoreTel Customer
The only thing more fun than meeting a ShoreTel customer is when it is a “meet and greet” with the rock band KISS, who is now a ShoreTel customer. Rock superstars Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are owners of the LA KISS arena football team, who selected ShoreTel Sky service for their business communication system.
San Francisco Giants, another great ShoreTel customers who recommended they take a look at ShoreTel. And that they did. LA KISS uses our solution to ensure the best possible experience for their fans, and coordinates some of the most sophisticated events for sports enthusiasts ever done. From pyrotechnics and electric laser productions, they know how to make an event memorable.
ShoreTel is also a sponsor of LA KISS, which holds their games at the Honda Center, home of the NHL Anaheim Ducks hockey team. It was very nice to meet the players at the private event for sponsors prior to the concert.
It was so fun attending this special sold out concert which featured an all-acoustic set by KISS. It was really cool for me personally to watch Tommy Thayer on guitar, after taking guitar lessons as part of ShoreTel’s Battle of the Bands program. He is a remarkable artist. I can’t wait to see them again on July 8th at the LA Forum, where KISS Alive II was recorded, with other members of the ShoreTel team that are focused on making them successful.
Coincidently, KISS will be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next week at a gala at the Barclay Stadium in Brooklyn, NY, which so happens to be the home of the Brooklyn Nets who also selected our ShoreTel Sky service. KISS has been performing for more than 40 years, having sold more than 100 million albums, with more gold albums than any US rock artist, second only to Elvis Presley.
I have been a KISS fan for so many years. A few years ago, KISS held a one-off spectacular concert Walk-n-Rock fundraiser at the Sacramento River Cats Stadium (another team that uses a ShoreTel system). The CIO was so pleased I was able to raise $1,400 for an organization that supports underprivileged children. What better way to help a ShoreTel customer raise funds, and have fun at the same time. KISS also donates $1 for every concert ticket sold to the Wounded Warrior fund, having donated more than $2 million during the tour two years ago, and donated 100 percent of their ticket proceeds for their London Europe tour premiere to a local charity. Gene may come across differently to people, but there is no other band in the world that I’m aware of that tries to make a difference every way they can.
ShoreTel’s loyal customer base is second to none. It’s so rewarding that the only thing our customers like more about using our systems, is telling other people about it, which is why we have the highest Net Promoter Score in the industry.
